Funeral services for Millia Allen Dampier, 103, who passed away on December 28, 2013, will be held Friday at 10AM in the North Jacksonville Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery, Hampton, Florida with a 1:00PM Interment on Friday. The family received friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206(904) 355-9545.
Mrs. Dampier was born in Lakeland, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Late husband, Marcus A. Dampier and son, Chester Eddie Hall Sr., Survivors include her son, Clyde L. Hall; 3 grandchildren that she raised, Steve Hall, Diana Flansburg and Cindy Bertrand; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
