Joseph A. Kustra, 58, of Mandeville, La., formerly of McKeesport, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 27, 2013. He was born Aug. 14, 1955, in McKeesport, a son of Albert T. Kustra, of McKeesport, and the late Barbara "Betty" J. Kowalski Kustra. Joe was a 1973 graduate of McKeesport High School and Penn State University, class of 1977. He had been employed by the Army Corps of Engineers in the Waterborne Commerce Statistics Center in New Orleans, La. Although living outside of the area since college, he remained an avid Steelers fan.
