Marvin F. 'Buck' Buchanan
Marvin Buchanan, Pateros, passed away Aug. 15, 2013 in Brewster.

Marvin was born June 7, 1933 in Bridgeport to Ralph Buchanan and Anna Pederson Buchanan.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956 during the Korean Conflict. After honorable discharge, Marvin returned to the Pateros area.

He married Nada Otto on April 1, 1956.

Marvin worked for Heath Nursery prior to a long employment with John Neff Orchards and then Poirier Orchards until retirement.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nada Buchanan and children: Janet (Charley) Chamberlain, Wenatchee, Wash.; Ralph (Wendy) Buchanan, Pateros, Wash.; Danny Buchanan, Pateros, Wash.; Ardith (Don) Stivers, Pateros, Wash.; Linda Hosking, Mullan, Idaho; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 5 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
