Timothy (Tim) Allen Gilbert of Oak Level Road passed away, Monday, December 30, 2013 at his home. He was born in Henry County on July 2, 1963 to Billy and Lena Gilbert of Bassett. In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by a son by his first marriage, Tanner Allen Gilbert of Bassett; his wife, Jennifer Sawyers Gilbert of Victory Lane in Bassett; two step-sons, Camron Hall and Tyler Secrest both in the military; a sister Christie Parks.
The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm in Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Memorial Park.
