The son of Everard Meade Feild and Maria Louisa Fox; married Edith Marie Sears Chase on July 25, 1914 in New Jersey.

Well known New Orleans civil engineer. Hubbard Feild also owned an architecturally important home at 4941 St. Charles built by Robert S. Soule and F. J. MacDonnell. It was innovative in that the architects designed a large house on a small lot by making an indirect approach defined by a walkway curving around a raised terrace planting. The house also featured a large curved portico and a glass-roofed conservatory.
