Funeral Services for Whitesville Man Will be Conducted Friday Afternoon
Whitesville. Feb 21 - Adelbert Austin, 77 years of age, passed away at his home on High Street yesterday. He is survived by his widow, three sons, and a daughter. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. John Boucher (Ann) of this place and Mrs. William Horning (Nancy) of Bingham, PA.
He was born September 2, 1856 in West Union, the son of Drance (Dorance) and Adaline (Samantha) Holbert (Hauber). Mr. Austin was a farmer and an oil speculatory and lived his entire life in this section.
The funeral services will be held at the home of a son, Sheridan Austin, at Barney Mills, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Henry J. Marquis, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Interment at Whites Corners, PA.
