STUART WILSON ANGEVINE was born April 9, 1926, in Short Pump, VA. He died October 1, 2004, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital from complications of heart disease.

Stuart graduated from Jefferson High School in Richmond, VA, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps until 1946.

He graduated from the FBI Academy in 1951, and was a Special Agent in the Chicago, New York, Washington and Alexandria field offices until his retirement in 1980.

From 1980 until 1987, he was a Staff Investigator for the Appropriations Committee of the U. S. House of Representatives. After his retirement to Gloucester, VA, he was a volunteer with the AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly/Handicapped Program, an avid fisherman and treasurer of the Ware River Yacht Club.

Survivors include wife of 51 years, Margaret Angevine of Gloucester, VA; one daughter, Linda Malley and husband of Newark, DE; one son, James Angevine and wife of Charlottesville, VA; four grandchildren, Rebecca Malley, Joshua Malley, Margaret S. Angevine and Joseph Angevine; two nieces, Winnie Humphrey and Norma Willson and their families; sister-in-law, Evelyn Angevine and step-nephew, Hal Angevine.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 23, in the Chapel of HOGG FUNERAL HOME, Gloucester Point, conducted by the Reverend Timothy B. Kirby, Sr. In Stuart's memory, should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements by Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, VA.
