LANCASTER: David Daniel Stallings, 81, of Lancaster, Ohio died at 12:15 p.m. on Tueday, March 20, 2012 at Main Street Terrace Care Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born April 15, 1930 in Millertown, Ohio to the late James Richard and Nora (Kinder) Stallings.

Mr. Stallings was a 1965 graduate of the California College of Mortuary Science in Los Angeles, California; a retired Mortician; member of the United Brethren Church of Lancaster, Kiwanis, Masons and served three years in the Ohio National Guard.

Survived by his wife, Patricia A. Stallings of Lancaster; son, David G. Stallings of Yucaipa, California; daughter, Tamara J. Haight of Valley Springs, California: and son, Jeffery R. Stallings of Marysville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Krystal G. Stallings of Wrightwood, California, Holly J. Jacques of Alpine, California, Tommy Heywood of Clearlake, California, Dalton R. Stallings and Kaylnn Stallings of Marysville, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, A.J. Stevens and Alexis Jacques of Alpine, California,and Matthew and Megan Stauffer of Wrightwood, California.

At his request, cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Oio in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Centeral Ohio, 109 North Broad Street, Suite 304, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
