BARRICK - Mildred Evelyn of Port Colborne passed away at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Saturday, December 30, 1997 at the age of 77 years. Born in Cardinal, Ontario, Mrs. Barrick has lived in the area for over 70 years. She had worked as a waitress at the Flag Stone Restaurant. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Barrick is predeceased by her husband Herman Barrick; her parents William and Ruby Beechteller; brother Burnis Beechteller; sons-in-law Jim Birkmyre and Wayne Beck; brothers-in-law Ken Salsbury and Nick Hunter. She will be sadly missed by her children David Barrick and his wife Donna, Carol and her husband Ron Tennier, Pauline Birkmyre, Marlene and her husband Gary Scott, all of Port Colborne. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother William Beechteller and his wife Bonnie of Wainfleet; sister Helen Hunter of Welland; sister-in-law Marguerite Salsbury of Port Colborne as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barrick's family will receive visitors at the Port Colborne Chapel of Davidson Funeral Homes, 135 Clarence Street Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 23, 1997 in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor W. Jerome Mosley officiating. Interment to follow in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery. In Memory of Mrs. Barrick, donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
