Son of Joseph and Mehitable (Crocker)Parker, married Clara Crocker daughter of Dea. Lot Crocker Jan.3,1850. For many years Capt. Parker was connected with the old "commercial line" of packets, sailing between Boston and New York, commanding the schooners New York, Wolcott, Homer and Plymouth Rock. He was owner and commander of Plymouth Rock for 21 years.
