She became reacquainted with a childhood friend and returned missionary, Granville Elwood Barlow, and they were married for eternity on Oct. 29, 1937, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. As a young couple, the two lived in Granger and Garland before settling on a dairy farm in Lewiston, Utah. They were blessed with six children and celebrated 49 years of marriage before Granville's passing March 25, 1986.
She later met Asael Bright Hyer, and they were married on Nov. 17, 1989, in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in Lewiston and Ogden, Utah. They were dear companions for 23 years before Ace passed away in 2012.
Edith devoted her life to her family, whom she loved with all her heart.
