Married To Elizabeth Jane Fawcett on Nov. 7, 1836.

(1) William Eliphalet (Nov. 7, 1837-July 11, 1913) married Isabella Gordon.

(2) Melinda M. (Jan. 27, 1840-May 10, 1913) married George M. Smith, had a daughter
Elizabeth Ann (1866-1950 ) who married J. Fred Lewis, lived in Michigan and had three children.

(3) Joseph Henry (1842-Jan. 14, 1861)

(4) Almira Jane (Apr. 20, 1846-Mar.16, 1925) married James Roe (Jan. 9, 1840-Sept. 30, 1898)
Both are buried in Gorrie Cemetery, Howick Twp. in Huron County.

(5) Vincent Rice (1847-Sept. 7, 1896) married Arletta Ann Crane on Oct. 17, 1869.

(6) Thomisin Augusta (1848-Nov. 27, 1875) married Edward Noice.

(7) John Quincy (1851-Oct. 22, 1894) married Susan Ellen Dales in 1876 and had 4 children.

(8) Lucius Rufus (1854-1889) married Melissa Alzina Proctor (1864-1926).

(9) Louis Ransom (Dec. 23, 1856-Nov. 29, 1908) died in Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, married Feb. 25, 1885 to May Ann Close (July 28,1860-Feb. 16, 1927) who died in BC. Their children were:
Elizabeth Edna (Feb. 3, 1886-bef. 1891)
Edith Mary (Apr. 5, 1887)
Myrtle Almira (Aug. 30, 1890)
John Quincy (Apr. 16, 1893)
Stewart Blake (Oct. 14, 1894) and
Beverly Mitchell (Sept. 15, 1896).

Obit in Christian Guardian says he settled on a farm near Acton about 1829 and married Elizabeth Jane Fawcett of Erin Twp. and that they moved two years later to a bush farm in Maryborough twp. (Wellington Co.).
It indicated he was survived by his wife and 5 sons and 2 daughters.
