A.R. Chicken Absher of the Ono Community, Russell Springs, died on Sunday, October 15, 1995, ath the Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
He was born on May 23, 1934, to Dellar Stephens Absher and Elbert Otis Absher, both preceded him in death.
Mr. Absher is survived by four sons-David Absher of Orlando, Fla, Michael Absher of Coco Beach, Fla; Timmy Absher and Daryl Absher, both of Russell Springs; and five grandchildren.
One brother-Roger Dale Absher of Orlando, Fla. and five sisters-Nina Debord of Russell Springs; Grace Keen and Betty Mann, both of Jamestown, Nellie Mershan and Linda Roy, both of Anderson, Ind. also survive.
Mr. Absher was a heavy equipment operator.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 1995, at 1 p.m. at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dunbar officiating.
Special music will be provided by Bobby Dunbar.
Interment will be in Lucenda Cemetery.
