Rodney Lee Harrison, age 50, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013. Born in Maryland on October 14, 1963, he was the son of the late Roscoe W., Sr. and Esther Anderson Harrison.

Mr. Harrison had been employed as a production equipment operator. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #851, Elkton. Mr. Harrison loved country music and old westerns. An avid amateur automobile mechanic, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed playing football with his son, Brent.

Survivors include his sons, Timothy Lewis, Earleville, MD, Jonathan Harrison, Newark, DE, and Brent Harrison, Middletown, DE; siblings, Robert Badur, London, England, Beverly Badur-Betts, Elkton, MD, William Harrison, Wilmington, DE, and Roscoe Harrison, Jr., Cambridge, MD; and companion, Barbara McKinney.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Hamblin.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Georges Cemetery, St. Georges, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
