Charles Victor Bingham, 92, of Bland died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Mercy Hospital Washington.
Charles was born in Barbourville, Ky. July 7, 1921, to the late Woodson and Maude (Rhodes) Bingham. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Brennan Sept. 18, 1943, in Richmond Virginia. He served his country during World War II and was a colonel in the Department of Defense. He was a member of the Owensville VFW Post 6133, the Masonic Lodge and the Bland Christian Church.
Charles was also preceded in death by wife, Dorothy.
He is survived by sons, Richard Bingham and wife Sharon and Gregory Bingham and wife Maureen; daughters, Marshalynn Hollingsworth and husband Roger and Jayne Pope and husband John; and by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial in Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville with full military honors.
