Elizabeth G. Waldrop, 69, of Owenton, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was an employee of the Kentucky Parks Department, and a member of Long Ridge Baptist Church and the Owen County Woman's Club. Her husband, Herman Waldrop, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Waldrop of Owenton; a daughter, Kim Fucci of Lexington; brothers, Ray Gillespie of Seneca, S.C., and Jim Gillespie of Peru, Ind.; sisters, Maxine Hudson and Charlotte Giles, both of Owenton; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Saturday at McDonald & New Funeral Home, Seminary Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Owenton. Memorials are suggested to New Horizons Medical Center, 330 Roland Ave., Owenton, Ky. 40359.
