Along with her parents she is also Survived by Brothers: John (Julie) Barnett, Wapakoneta, OH. Shawn Barnett , Rockford, OH. Step-brothers: Randy (Pam) Decker, Mercer, OH. Todd (Sherry) Decker, Celina, OH. Step-sister: Julie Jones, Decatur, Indiana. Paternal Grandmother: Francis Barnett, Trotwood, OH. Step-Grandmother: Esther Buel, Rockford, OH. Preceded in death by Step-Father: James Edward Decker. She was a waitress at several restaurants in the Dayton area. She was Baptized at Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert. She was a 1995 graduate of Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio; she participated in the band; and competed in the band at the Grand National Class Championships with Beavercreek High School in Indianapolis, Indiana; participated in Track in 7th and 8th grade at Parkway Schools in Rockford, OH.
