He was born Jan. 15, 1953, at Lewiston to Homer and Esther Martin Richardson.
He grew up and attended schools at Orofino, and served in the U.S. Air Force in 1971 and 1972.
He returned to Orofino, where he worked in the woods. He worked for Arave Cedar, Kleer Logging and West Star Cable Television. He was employed by Quigley Brothers Logging at the time of his death.
He married Ivy Cooper in 1980. They were later divorced.
He was a member of the Orofino First Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two daughters, Dusty Richardson of Aberdeen, Wash., and Rainy Richardson of Orofino; three brothers, Jerry Richardson of Spokane, Bill Richardson of Weippe and John Richardson of Lewiston; and a sister, Marietta Arave of Orofino.
A son, David, and a brother, Ronald, died previously.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Orofino Tabernacle Church, with the Rev. Phil Bonner officiating.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made toward the purchase of a headstone, c/o Pine Hills Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 307, Orofino, Idaho, 83544.
