NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Richard L. "Wolfman" Edmonson, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:58 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2013, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Richard was born July 29, 1941, in Indiana, the son of Vernon and Eileen (Ross) Edmonson Stroup.
Richard worked for 30 years at the General Motors plant in Anderson. He enjoyed watching car racing, fishing, playing pool and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Survivors include his sons, Richard W. (Patty) Edmonson of Anderson and Michael L. Edmonson of California; two grandchildren, Rory W. (Laura) Edmonson of Muncie and Mary E. Edmonson of Indianapolis; and two great-grandchildren, Peyton Edmonson and Gavin Kirklin, both of Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leslie (Peabody) Edmonson; and a son, Ricky Lee Edmonson.
In keeping with his family's wishes services will be held at a later date.
Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, Ind., were entrusted with the arrangements.
