Mrs. Copeland was a native of Mayfield and a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah for more that 25 years.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles S. Copeland; one daughter, Carol Freebairn of Little Rock; one son, James Copeland of Louisville; two grandchildren, John Freebairn of Bryant, Ark., and Amy Skinner of Little Rock; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by one son, Richard Kent Copeland, and one sister. Her parents were James Gobel and Agnes Haley Parham.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
