Services for Julia M. "Judy" Copeland, 80, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Paducah, will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Kersey will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield.
Mrs. Copeland was a native of Mayfield and a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah for more that 25 years.
Mrs. Copeland is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles S. Copeland; one daughter, Carol Freebairn of Little Rock; one son, James Copeland of Louisville; two grandchildren, John Freebairn of Bryant, Ark., and Amy Skinner of Little Rock; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by one son, Richard Kent Copeland, and one sister. Her parents were James Gobel and Agnes Haley Parham.
