KAYSVILLE--Muriel Larsen Wadley left our lives, but not our hearts, on February 15, 1997.

A daughter of James Henson and Idella Cobbley Walker, she was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah, on May 28, 1914.

She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1931 and completed her early education at BYU. She continued her education at the U of U and USU. She taught home economics at Davis High School and Central Davis Junior High. She continued both her teaching career and education throughout her life, sharing her many talents, wisdom, strong work ethic, artistic and homemaking talents. She was a devoted, loving mother, wife and friend.

She was a member of the Kaysville First Ward. She married Orville L. Larsen on January 11, 1934, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She is survived by two children, Mrs. Richard B. Major (Carol Ann) and Loyd W. Larsen (Betty Dahlstrom); two brothers, James H. Walker and Benjamin G. Walker; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a stepson and stepdaughter, Richard Wadley and Deanna Lewis; and many loving friends that she considered to be a part of her immediate family. She married her high school sweetheart, Merlyn R. Wadley, five years ago, and they have enjoyed a rich, productive and happy life together.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville; a grandson, James; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 1997, at 2 p.m. at the Kaysville 1st Ward Chapel, 198 West Center. Friends and family may call at Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and at the chapel from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.

When God called her home, he called in the first team.
