Colorado - Justin Clay Lee Myers, 25, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Colorado.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Bailey Howard Funeral Home in Clyde. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the funeral home in Clyde.
Justin was born December 12, 1988 in Abilene, Texas to Richard Myers and Cheryl Fowler.
He is a 2007 graduate of Clyde High School and served in the U. S. Army from June 2007 till May 2011. While serving in the U.S. Army he did a tour in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Justin was currently attending college in Colorado to obtain a degree in Counseling.
Justin is survived by three children, Jaysa and Kiera of Clyde and Mali of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his father Richard Myers and spouse of Weatherford; his mother Cheryl Fowler and spouse of Stephenville; siblings, Cody Myers and spouse of Sulpher Springs, Erick Lakey of Oklahoma, Trisha Carrion of Abilene, Riley Myers and Brianna Myers both of Weatherford, Kandace Myers of Abilene; grandfather, Doni Fowler of Abilene; grandmother Linda Atkins and spouse of Clyde and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Justin Myers.
