Belton--- Funeral services for Larry Lynn Baker, Sr. 61, of Belton, will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.

Mr. Baker died Monday, March 10, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Baker was born January 13, 1953, in Lubbock, the son of Dudley and Faye Belle (McAnally) Baker. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He married Reba Duncan, May 11, 1973 in Rockwall. They have lived in the Belton area for the last 18 years, moving here from Princeton. Mr. Baker loved to fish, and loved to talk about fishing and all the fun he had fishing with his father. He also enjoyed playing pool. Most of all he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Baker was a member of the Anchor of Hope Church in Belton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers Andrew Baker, Corine Alexander, Bobby Baker, Glenda Heather, Charles Baker, Veta Faye Baker, Roy Baker.

Survivors include his wife Reba Baker of Belton, two sons Jeff Rushing and wife Gail of Shalimar, Florida and Larry Baker, Jr. and wife Kim of Morgan's Point Resort; one daughter Stephanie Pettett and husband Paul; two brothers Jerry Baker of Dodd City and Roger Baker of Murphy; one sister Elsie Purser of Princeton; six grandchildren Sky Pettett and wife Kaytee, Cheyla Pettett, Wren Pettett and wife Stormee, Holly Baker, Iris Baker and Willow Baker, one great grandchild Indiana Pettett and many nieces and nephews.
