Funeral services for Ashley E. Walker will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Dee Anders. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Dixie Inn, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Ashley was born February 3, 1986 in Agana, Guam. She went to be with the Lord December 26, 2013 in Minden, Louisiana. She loved being the life of the party. She loved everyone. She loved being around her nieces and nephews, whom she cherished everyday.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Willie and Barbara Walker and Sarah Burdine.
She is survived by her father; Wayne Walker, mother; Connie Burdine and husband Steve, sisters; Crystal Allen and husband Richie, Whitney DeLeon and husband Trey, and Trinity Burdine, brother; Josh Burdine and wife Carrie, nieces; Tristin Allen and Malena DeLeon, nephews; Austin Allen, Westin Allen, Ashtin Allen, and Kylan Burdine.
Pallbearers will be David Fowler, Micah Edwards, Mike Johnson, Justin McCarty, Ronnie Walker, and David Drake.
