ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Dorothy Ainlay Black, 90, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Belgrade, died on Saturday, March 8, 1997, in New Mexico.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Palmer's Funeral Home in Fullerton. The Rev. Mary McQueen will officiate. Burial will be in the Fullerton Cem.
Mrs. Black was born on Dec. 16, 1906, at Belgrade to Benjamin and Mayme (Garven) Ainlay. She graduated from Belgrade High School in 1923.
She married Arthur Black of Albion in 1926. They moved to Monroe, Wis., in 1933. They owned and operated a farm machinery business there until his death in 1961. She worked as a saleswoman and taught grade school.
She married Harold Whitehead in 1963. They operated a dairy farm until his death in November 1990. She then moved to Albuquerque to be with her son.
Survivors include one son, Robert of Albuquerque; and two grandsons
