Originally of Jackson Heights, N.Y., she graduated from Skidmore College and then worked briefly as a corporate secretary. She then married John H. Early (deceased.) They moved to Wilton in 1965.
Mrs. Early is survived by her three children: daughter, Susan Early of Wilton; a son, Thomas Early of Norwalk and his domestic partner George Billings; and another son, James Earl of Guilford, his wife Heidi and their three children Jacob, Michael and Julia.
She was a member of Silver Springs Country Club in Ridgefield; active in golf, tennis and bridge. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading and crossword puzzles.
"Her friends and family will fondly remember her," her family said.
