Abstract: Woodrow Wilson Herring Sr., of Fairfax, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 1989, at Fair Oaks Hospital. Herring had lived in Fairfax since 1941 and operated the Willow Springs Garage. He also was involved in excavating, real estate and land development in the Widewater Beach area of Stafford. He was a member of Centreville United Methodist Church for 35 years and was a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge #16.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, two sons; one daughter; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister.
