LOYSVILLE - Mildred R. Sheriff, 96, of Loysville passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013 surrounded by her family in her home. Mildred was born July 31, 1917 at Blain to James and Edith (Shambaugh) Wilt. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Sheriff who died July 20, 1994 and five siblings, Myrtle Thomas, Stella Wilt, Ralph Wilt, Lee Wilt and Dale Wilt. She assisted her late husband in farming and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters, Darlene L. Collins and Betty A. Sheriff, both of Loysville, two grandchildren, Christine L. Mechling, James W. Collins, four great-grandchildren, James G. Collins and his wife Stephany (Bretz), Dani L. Collins and her fiance' Kevin Brookhart, Tyler Collins and Joshua Collins.
