RUSSELLVILLE — Mabel Floyd Cardwell, 88, of Russellville died Jan. 16, 2008, at Logan Memorial Hospital.
The Cheatham County, Tenn., native was born March 20, 1919. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Helen Cardwell Midkiff.
Funeral was Saturday at Cross Roads Church, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Young Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Eunice LeNear Cardwell of Cayuga, Ind., and John U. Cardwell of Nashville; four daughters, Blondell Cardwell Ladd of Henderson, N.C., Barbara Sue Hargrove and Ion Cardwell Tanner, both of Dickson, Tenn., and Dorothy Farmer of Russellville; 39 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
