Funeral for Paul Edwin Moon, 74, of Moulton will be today, December 31, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Moulton with Jeff Griffis, Greg Standridge and Marvin Gillespie officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Moon, who died Monday, December 30, 2013, at his residence, was born August 15, 1939, in Madison County to Willie E. Moon and Annie Lou Sneed Moon. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Moon Hill; sister, Elizabeth Moon Geary; and brothers, Lloyd Moon, Victor Moon and Ellis Moon.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Shelton Moon; one son, Paul Ellis Moon; and three grandchildren, Brittney Hill Gillespie (Justin), Heather Moon Gillespie (Brent) and Morgan Michelle Moon.
Pallbearers will be Harold Preston, Bill Hagood, Floyd Alexander, Brian Gray, J.P. Hames and Joel Moon.
Memorials may be made to Children's Ministry
