Funeral services for Melvin Lynn Douglas will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial following in the County Line Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home.

Melvin was born April 4, 1951 in Lampasas, Texas to Marvin and Francis Douglas and passed away December 24, 2013 at the age of 62 in Conroe, Texas. Melvin was preceded in death by his son, Michael Douglas. Melvin is survived by his loving wife, Gina Douglas; children, Heather and spouse, Wallace Argabright, Martin and spouse, Dena Douglas and Misty and spouse Allen Franks; grandchildren, Jon Paul Berber, Dekota, Dillon and Christina Douglas and Ashley Douglas; sisters, Patricia Loggins and spouse Kenneth, Mary Rishard and spouse Rod, Marva Roan and spouse Norman and by his brother, Mark Douglas and spouse Kathleen. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
