Jessie Jepson Glazier, 95, of Hurricane, Utah, passed away on December 29, 2013, peacefully at home. She was Born on October 22, 1918, to JESSE and BRENDA JEPSON. She Married LEON GLAZIER in KANAB, UTAH, and they were later SEALED in the St. GEORGE TEMPLE.
She lived the MAJORUTY of her LIFE in HURRICANE, UTAH. Mom was such a BEAUTIFUL and CLASSY LADY and she always presented herself as a PROPER LADY. She maintained her witty SENSE of HUMOR until the VERY END. She LOVED to TRAVEL, SQUARE DANCE, and ENTERTAINED and HOSTED many FAMILY and FRIENDS at their CABIN on KOLOB. She WROTE, PRODUCED, and DIRECTED numerous roadshows and was very ARTISTIC.She won AWARDS for FLOATS for the CITY of HURRICANE, inlcuding her own home and yard. She WON numerous BLUE RIBBONS for her SPACTACULAR fruit and nut displays during Peach Days and County Fair Celebrations. She LOVED MUSIC and DANCING and in her youth she WON MANY DANCE competitions. She LOVED being with FAMILY and FRIENDS.
She is survived by: her children, JERRY (LOLA) GLAZIER of Hurricane, KELLY (GAIL) GLAZIER of St. GEORGE, and CONNIE GLAZIER, of Hurricane; 9 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her Husband; her son KENNY LEON; and nine siblings.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hurricane 5th Ward L.D.S. CHAPEL, 274 South 100 West, Hurricane, UTAH.
A viewing will be held prior to 12:45 p.m.
INTERMENT will take place at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
