Neil Alan Barkdull passed away at the age of 59 and was a lifelong resident of northeastern Nevada. He was born in Winnemucca, NV and reared in Battle Mountain, NV. He graduated from Battle Mountain High School and had worked most of his life as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He was a Korean War veteran. Survivors include his wife, Talitha C. Barkdull of Battle Mountain; children, Mayva Barkdull and Alan Barkdull of Battle Mountain, Ellen Stein of Sparks and Elaine Barkdull of Elko; stepchildren, Diana Lee Jones, Christine Thompson, Antoinette Peters, Maryann Lonagro, John Kline, Matt Kline and Eric Kline; brother, Gary Barkdull of Pahrump; sister, Lynda Flippen of Battle Mountain; 10 grandchildren; 25 step grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. His father, Mel Barkdull, mother, Dorothy Barkdull and brother, Dean Barkdull, preceded him in death.
