James M. Battle passed away at the Roseville Hospital in Roseville, CA at the age of 66. He was born to James and Margarett Battle and had lived in Roseville for the past 19 years, coming from Reno, where he had lived since 1969. Battle was a police officer with the Reno Police Department from 1970 to 1985. He attended peace officer's academy. Surviving are his wife, Pauline of Roseville; son, Allen of Reno; daughter, Janice Brown of Grand Junction, CO; and two granddaughters.
