Anna Ruth Orr London, age 90 of Cornersville, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. London was a native of the Farmington Community and daughter of the late William Newton and Rhessa Cross Orr. She was a 1941 graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill and, also, a graduate of Draughons Business College. She was an associate of the Farmer's Bank and Cornersville Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. (Bill) London, and three brothers, William N. (Bill) Orr, George Cross Orr and Douglas Orr. She is survived by two sons, George (Edna) London and Buddy (Vickie) London all of Cornersville, three daughters, Linda London Lamberth & Rhessa London (Guy) Wilson all of Gallatin, & Julie London (Phil) Burgess of Nashville, eleven grandchildren & five great grandchildren, also, survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.
