Joseph a. Buttaro passed away at the Physician's Hospital for Extended Care at the age of 83. He was a native of Cambridge, MA born to Andrew and Elisa Carrozza Buttaro, and had lived in Reno for the past three years, coming from Florida, where he lived for 10 years. Buttaro owned and operated Handy Cleaners in Revere, MA for 35 years, and was a welding instructor for the NYA program in Boston. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Revere and attended schools in Malden, MA. Surviving are daughters, Rita Akao of Reno and Theresa McNutt of East Boston, MA; son, Joseph A. Jr. of Salisberry, MA; brother, Robert J. of Riverdale, GA; and eight grandchildren.
