Frank Alan Howell, 60, died at his home in Douglas on Monday, December 23, 2013 surrounded by his children.

Frank was born March 11, 1953 in Douglas, Wyoming the son of Melvin Frank and Eila Mae (Baker) Howell. He was raised and educated in Douglas. He served as a combat engineer and bulldozer operator in the United States Army from April, 1971 to April, 1973. While in the Army he received the National Defense Service Medal and an Overseas Service Medal for serving in Germany.

Frank worked in the oilfield for 40 plus years as a roustabout and owned F-n-M Roustabout.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, going to demolition derbies, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Stacy (Mike) Goddard of Owatonna, Minnesota, Cody Bowers of Witt, Illinois, Jason Howell of Casper, Wyoming, Michael Hershberger-Howell, Misty Howell, Rick (Freedom) Howell, and Robert (Courtney) Howell all of Douglas; brother, Richard (Laurie) Howell of Douglas; and grandchildren, Aaron Ezell, Brianna Cothron, Justin Goddard, Liberty and Destiny Martin, Kiara Emick, Leland Ortega, Tyler, Tera, and Alexis Fackelman, Alex and Stephanie Howell, and Madison Howell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin, on November 30, 1963 and his mother, Eila, on August 1, 1998.
