The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Jerry Poole of Franklin will be Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the Mount Carrie Missionary Baptist Church, Victory Road in Franklin.
Rev. Ronnie Jones and Dr. W. T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will be in Heard County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Poole, a native of Heard County, was born February 2, 1953, and was the son of the late Bonner and Jettie Thomas Poole. He was employed with the City of Franklin and was a member of Mt. Carrie Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his siblings: Surlinda (Johnny) White, Franklin; Reuben (Joann) Poole, LaGrange; Judy Cook and Shari (Samuel) Fluellen, Grantville, GA; Brenda Poole and Edith (Alfredo) Dunson, all of Franklin; Juanita (Rev. James) Chelcy, LaGrange; Charles (Lorraine) Poole, Carrollton, GA; sister-in-law, Rosemary Poole, LaGrange; special and devoted friend, Annie Ruth Wilkes and son, Shedrant (Valene) Wilkes and their children: Aubrey Foster, Shedrina Wilkes, Jalissa Colton; nieces/god-daughter, Samone Fluellen; extended family: Lamar and Betty Barber and children: Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dutta and Arman, Garry Bhangu, Kuljit Mann, and Earl Hopson; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hilliard Poole; two nieces, Judy Ann Poole and Vanessa White; and one nephew, Suspacea White.
