She had a long association with the Girl Scouts of America. She served as secretary to the Girl Scout office in Des Moines, Iowa. For 22 years she was the troop camp director for the Penn Lakes Girl Scouts, Camp Hawthorne Ridge. She was still an active girl scout member at her death. She attended Franklin Center United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Edinboro Senior Citizens Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry Horn, in 1999; a brother, Harlan Conn; and a sister, Avis Kirkpatrick.
Survivors include four nieces, Norma Lohr and Dorothy Carter, both of Franklin Twp., Carol Hartsock of Lansing, Mich., and Marcia Kirkpatrick of Reva, Va.; three sisters-in-law, Grace Pieper of Franklin Twp., Lula Cosper of Fairview, and Marian Horne of Erie; and numerous grand- and great-nieces and -nephews.
Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
