Drucilla (Enlow) Crecelius was born on September 28, 1809 in Harrison County, Indiana, the daughter of Jesse Enlow (1769-1829) and Ann (Highfill) Enlow (1775-1850).

She was married on January 14, 1830 in Crawford County as the 2nd wife of Phillip Ausmus Crecelius (1794-1850), the son of Johann Gotthard "John" Crecelius (1753–1835) and Anna Elizabeth Ausmus (1763–1832). Drucilla was also the younger sister of Phillip's 1st wife Rebecca "Becca" (Enlow) Crecelius (1796-1829).

Drucilla passed away on November 15, 1851 in Crawford County and was buried in Mount Eden Cemetery.
