Born June 10, 1925, in Garrison, Texas, he was the son of Willie Garrison Taylor and John Earl Taylor.
Percy was a United States Army veteran. He began working with Pure Oil in 1953 and retired from Union Oil in 1984 having been employed as a pipefitter.
He is survived by his wife, Vaudine Taylor; son, Dale Taylor and his wife, Jackie; daughter, Betsy Taylor Evans and her husband Jimmy; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean Reierson.
Burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
