Betty Lou Knight was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Union County, the daughter of George and Clara (Kenney) Livesay. Her siblings include Dorothy Eaton of Anna, Bonnie Penrod of Cobden, Shirley Murakami of Cape Girardeau, Nancy Hobbs of Jackson, Mo., Pat Ferguson of Dongola, Linda Brown and Kay Carver, both of McClure, Wayne Liveway of Jonesboro, and Bob Liveway of Wolf Lake.

She married Delbert Knight on May 21, 1955, in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1979. Her children include Debra Ellis and Marilyn Arnld, both of Jonesboro.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Anna VFW and was employed at Wal Mart.

Mrs. Knight died at the age of 60 in Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
