Dale was born July 23, 1947 in Moweaqua, IL the son of Harley C. and Myrtle M. (Smith) Burke.
Dale worked for Northfork Southern Railroad.
Surviving are his daughters, Jody (Robert) Hodson of Taylorville, IL and Rhonda Moses also of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren, Taylor Hodson, Taryn Hodson, Cheyenne Clark and Lakota Clark; brothers, Ralph (Mary) Burke of Mt. Auburn, IL and Leroy Burke of Shelbyville, IL; sisters, Shirley (Gary) Warner of Ramsey, IL. and Ruth (Oreland) Johnson of Nokomis, IL.
Preceding him in death are his parents and brother Robert.
