Julia I. Verros, 95, of Pella died of a heart ailment at the Pella Regional Health Center Long Term Care Unit.
Mrs. Verros was born June 17, 1907 in Montezuma, the daughter of Marion and Anna Jabaai Van Arkel.
On February 24, 1934 she was married to David Verros in Pella and lived in Harvey and Otley areas before moving to Pella in 1976. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and writing peotry.
She is survived by two sons, Norman of Pella and Marvin of Otley; a daughter, Myra Verros of Des Moines; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David.
