MADISON, Helen Kitchen, 91, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away on December 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Riley M. Madison; her parents, John and Nettie Kitchen; her brothers, Dick Lacy, Alvin Kitchen, Clyde Kitchen, John Kitchen Jr.; and her sister, Joan Kitchen. She is survived by her son, Riley M. Madison Jr. (Cathy); two grandsons, Clint Madison and Jason Madison (Lina); one great-granddaughter, Valyn Skylar. She is also survived by her brothers, Malcolm Kitchen (Edith) and Riley Gene Kitchen (Shelby); her sister, June Vines (Johnny); her sister-in-law, Mary Kitchen; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen retired after 27 years with Reynolds Aluminum. She had a love of life and wanted her many friends and family to remember her as "Happy Go Lucky." The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 30, at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
