Hildegard H. Lowry, 77, of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Johnston-Willis Hospital, Richmond VA. She was born April 19, 1936 in Germany, daughter of the late Reinhart and Hulda (Kostler) Paul.
Hildegard retired from the former Rea and Derrick where she was a short order cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the "simple" things in life.
Hildegard is survived by her sons Peter and wife Sophia Lowry; Steven V. and wife Rebecca Lowry all of Herndon, VA; five grandchildren Dominic, Brianna, Elisabeth, Sara, Victoria and a sister in law Louise Stewart, of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl V. Lowry of 52 years, who passed away February 9, 2013 and a sister Anna Olsner.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2014 from Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St. Harrisburg, with viewing from 12:00 till time of service. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
