Anne C. Criswell, 87, of Lafayette, died at 9 PM Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at St. Anthony Health Care. She was born Feb. 12, 1924, in Lafayette, and was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Beulah D. Spangler Primmer. She graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1942. Mrs. Criswell worked for Alcoa in data processing and retired in 1986. She was a member of St. Paul Community Church in Linden.

Surviving are a daughter, Beth Morrison of Lebanon, and a sister, Patricia Frey (husband: Cecil) of Lafayette. Also surviving are grandchildren, Toni Morrison (husband: Brian), Stephanie Hill (companion: Kevin Jacobs) and Jason Gilkey (wife: Andrea); and 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Brianna, Alaina and Taylor. Visitation 12-1 PM today at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral service 1 PM today at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel.
