Victoria -- Elizabeth Baier, 85, died Friday, Dec. 1, 1995 at St. John's Rest Home in Victoria. She was born Aug. 16, 1910 in Victoria to Anton P. and Eva (Brungardt) Dreiling.

She married William "Bill" Baier on Oct. 25, 1932 in Victoria. He died Feb. 23, 1993.

She was a homemaker and spent her lifetime in the Vincent and Victoria area. She entered the rest home in March 1993. She was a member of the St. Fidelis Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and the Christian Mothers, all of Victoria.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Westhusin of Covina, Calif. and Alice Erickson of Arkansas City; a stepson, Paul J. Baier of Victoria; two stepdaughters, Mary Frances Klaus and Armelia Schippers, both of Hays; two brothers, Clarence Dreiling and William P. Dreiling, both of Victoria; a sister, Alice Polifka of Catherine; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 47 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, William Baier Jr.; four brothers, Wendelin, Alfred, Bonaventure and Richard Dreiling; two sisters, Mary Baier and Adolphine Baier; and a step-granddaughter.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria with Fathers Frank X. Grinko, Didacus Dunn and Daryl W. Befort, offiiciating; burial in the church cemetery.
