Wilma J. Marsh, 75, of Cranberry RD 1, died during the early morning Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, at her home.
She had congestive heart failure for several months.
Born Sept. 16, 1923, in Venus, she was a daughter of Charles C. and Naomi Kapp Burns.
She was a lifelong resident of the Venus and Fertigs areas.
She and her husband purchased a farm in Pinegrove Township and operated it for 45 years until they retired in 1992.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers as well as spending time with her family.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Venus.
On Jan. 26, 1946, she married Everett Marsh, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, ****; one brother, Robert Burns of Venus RD 1; and two sisters, **** and Ruth Flockerzi of Oil City.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, ****; and three great-grandchildren, ****.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were two brothers, Paul Burns and Wilbur Burns; and two sisters, Doris Burns and Esther Sanner.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Faller Funeral Home, Fryburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Faith Lutheran Church, Venus, with the Rev. John Wood, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Venus Cemetery.
The famiy suggests memorials be made to either the Clarion-Forest or Venango County Visiting Nurses Associations or Faith Lutheran Church.
