Lena E. Marsh, 82, a resident of The Caring Place in Franklin for the past three years, formerly of Diamond, died at 8:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca.
Born June 28, 1925, in Diamond, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Eva Smith Kightlinger.
She was a 1942 graduate of Sunville High School.
Mrs. Marsh formerly was employed by G.C. Murphy and the Titusville Trust Co. until her retirement.
She was a member of the Diamond Evangelical United Methodist Church, Diamond Ladies Missionary Group, Chapmanville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Sugarcreek Grange and Diamond and Chapmanville Homemakers.
Mrs. Marsh was active in her church while living in Diamond and continued to be involved in activities while living at The Caring Place in Franklin.
She married Gerald E. Marsh July 15, 1961, in the Diamond Evangelical United Methodist Church. He died June 7, 2001.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by one sister, Florence V. Emick.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Tiffany of the Diamond Evangelical United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Diamond Cemetery.
